Ras Mohamed National Park, located at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, is a true gem of the Red Sea and one of Egypt’s treasures. Established in 1983, the park protects rare coral reefs and the region’s unique biodiversity. Its area covers over 480 km², including marine waters, deserts, lagoons, salt lakes, and rocky plateaus.

One of the park’s natural wonders is the meeting of the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba, where waters differ in temperature, density, and color. These currents feed the coral reefs and bring plankton — the basis of life for many marine creatures. Underwater visibility can reach 30 meters, and sunlight creates golden patterns on the seabed.

The underwater world comes alive: parrotfish, butterflyfish, starfish, rays, turtles, and dolphins create magnificent underwater gardens. Some corals are over 2,000 years old, and experienced divers even find traces of ancient shipwrecks.

On land, the park combines two contrasting worlds: the hot desert and the vibrant sea. In the mornings, you may see fennec foxes on the sand, hawks and pelicans in the sky, and in spring, the desert blooms with wildflowers.

White Island is a small sandy island that appears only during low tide. Its white sand and crystal-clear waters give the feeling of standing in the middle of the sea. Often called the “Egyptian Maldives,” the island is perfect for photos, swimming, and enjoying nature.

Tour Program
